1. The service
1 Banana is a focus app: you choose one thing, start a timed session (a “Banana”), and the app helps you avoid distracting apps for its duration. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Blocking is a help, not a guarantee
App blocking depends on permissions you grant and on your phone’s operating system, which may pause background apps or change behaviour between versions. The shield may appear a moment after a blocked app opens, and you can always end a session yourself. We make no guarantee that blocking is uninterruptible, and the app is not a parental-control or security product.
3. Subscriptions
1 Banana Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store at the price shown before purchase. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Cancel any time in your store account; refunds are handled under the store’s policies.
4. Banana Bet sandbox
The Banana Bet feature in this version is a simulation. No money is charged, held or paid out. If a real-money version is ever offered it will come with separate terms and explicit consent.
5. Your responsibilities
Use the app lawfully and don’t attempt to interfere with the stores, the app, or other users. Keep your device secure; your data is stored only on it.
6. Intellectual property
The app, Banana Guy and all artwork, names and code are ours or our licensors’. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a session that did or did not block an app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms; material changes will be noted in the app. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
